Adventures in playing fog. I purchased dry ice for my trip to Cincinnati and Josh, Natalie and Michael played with the remaining 5 lbs. Good fun!
Adventures in hanging out. Michael is getting very good at holding his head up. He also can roll from his tummy to his back and he is very close at rolling the other way. Notice that Natalie is wearing her police girl hat. Speaking of hats, she decided to wear her winter hat to school this week. It created some really good laughs. I choose my battles.
Garden adventure. Josh and Natalie's garden is doing unbelievable! We have more lettuce, spinach, and onions than we can eat. We just started getting peas in and the carrots, radishes, cucumbers, zucchini, fennel, onions, green onion, beans, tomatoes, green peppers and basil are doing great. I am sure I forgot something...Josh will quickly let me know. We tour the grounds every night so I should know (-:
Water adventure. It is 8:30am on Saturday morning and Natalie is ready to go on her slip and slide. It is going to be a wonderful day playing outside in the water. Go Natalie!
Jumperoo adventure. Michael is starting to really enjoy his Jumperoo.
Zoo adventure. I took Natalie to the zoo for some Mommy and Natalie time. Natalie didn't care much for the animals. As a matter of fact, she wouldn't even go near the cute, fuzzy, harmless bunnies. The highlight of the trip was playing in the water fountains. Camille, notice the super cool shoes.
Holding down gainful employment whilst rearing those two munchkins - in the meantime a lovely garden grows!
ReplyDeleteChomping on fresh snow peas and frolicking on the slip 'n' slide at ungodly morning hours;)!
And then, experiments on the kitchen floor, sanctioned by both mother and father, with dry ice, no less!!
Plus, an auntie who can, quite uncannily, assess your shoe size from 1400 miles away.
Life is very good, indeed:)
We can't wait to see you, thanks for the pics!
Great to see an update! I can't believe how fast these kids grow! Congrats on your promotion (saw on Facebook, I believe?) and on getting back to work. I'm interested to see how work with 2 little ones goes for me come December. It'll be interesting! Have fun in the sun!
